Problem: Before you use your microphone and webcam in a webinar room, you have to provide Flash Player necessary permissions, during the configuration. When you configure the microphone or webcam, the following panel pops up (Please see the image below). By default, the selection is DenySometimes, this panel does not respond. When this happens, you won't be able to select Allow and Remember options. The following workaround can be used to resolve this problem.

Resolution:

Internet Explorer and Netscape type browsers (i.e. Firefox, Safari)

  1. Right click anywhere in the webinar room.
  2. Click "Global Settings..." from the Flash Player context menu.
  3. The following panel opens up

    Windows

  4. Click Camera and Mic tab.

  5. Select "Ask me when a site wants to use the camera or microphone (Recommended)", if not selected.
  6. Click Camera and Microphone by Site button.
  7. Find and click the webinato.com entry (www.webinato.com) and/or your account url entry (i.e. mycompany.webinato.com). By default the selection is, Ask Me. If you see multiple entries ending with webinato.com, follow step 8 and configure all entries.
  8. Drop "When the selected site wants to use a camera or microphone" dropdown box and select Allow.
  9. If you are unable to find the webinato.com entry, click Add button to add it manually.
  10. Type www.webinato.com and press enter. You can also add your account url (i.e. mycompany.webinato.com). Click Close
  11. Exit and rejoin the room.

Note 1: If you are using a Microsoft Windows operating system, you can open this panel without even accessing the webinar room. However, if you use this to configure the permissions while in the room, you have to exit the room and join back. To access this panel,
