Changing the look of your room has never been easier thanks to Webinato's Smart Skin feature! The Smart Skin allows you to change the color palette of your room at any time to suit your needs, and the changes are persistent, so you don't have to worry about having to change them every time you launch your room. You're always free to make changes at anytime, making Smart Skin a very flexible option for room customization and design.
Using Smart Skin
To access the Smart Skin Feature, open your room and click the Main Room Options gear at the top right of the interface, then click the Smart Skin tab.
For a brief demonstration, please watch this Feature Update video for Smart Skin:
Changing Color Palettes
Once you open the Smart Skin tab, you will see three columns of Color choices that represent different portions of the interface:
- Color 1: Action Buttons and Accents
- Color 2: Bottom Control Bar and Popup Headers
- Color 3: Tabs (and eCurtain)
New Dark Background Choices
To complement the colors chosen above, you can now further customize your room by choosing a dark background color for the various portions of the interface.
You can choose to have only the Chat Area, the Images Area (main content) or the Users List area have a dark background, have all of them be dark, or any combination of the three that you wish. :
Here's a bonus tip: You can actually change the color and shade of the background by selecting the Custom colors option, and changing the Tab Color (the furthest right color option).
So, depending on your tastes and the tastes of your attendees, you can change this value in combination with the Dark Background check-box to find an optimal setting.
