Language Channels

Modified on Thu, 23 Apr 2015 at 06:28 AM

The Language Channel option is a powerful tool allowing presenters to offer the content of their rooms such as audio, chat or announcements in different languages.

When you join the web conference room, you can choose a language channel (example: Spanish). The system remembers your choice and will use your selection for future sessions.

Once you choose your language channel, you will:

  • Only hear the voice streams marked with your language. For instance, if you chose Spanish, you would only hear the presenter(s) who have also set their language to Spanish. No longer will you hear the original presentation language of the presenter, whether that is English or something else.
  • Have the option to see chat, announcements, and documents (if applicable) from presenters with your own language.
