I’m having issues showing a PowerPoint

Modified on Sun, 28 Aug 2016 at 09:53 PM

Webinato allows you to upload and show your MS PowerPoint presentation in the room using the slide shows module. There are some scenarios that the PowerPoint file is successfully uploaded and converted in the room, but for some reason, it does work when you click the play button to start loading and showing the presentation inside the room. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can perform rectify this problem.

1. Reload the room - Click the red (X) Button on the upper right corner of the room, the click Reload this webinar in your browser and start loading the slides again.

2. Check your internet connection - A stable internet connection is required in hosting the webinar as well as showing a presentation/slide inside the room. we would suggest to maintain a stable hardwired connection while hosting a webinar.

3. Re-upload and convert - Delete the file from the available slides in the slides control panel and try uploading the file again. (Note. Make sure you have the original copy of the pptx file before you delete it from the slides control panel)

4. Check your browser security setting - Allowing  *.webinato.com frrom your browser security settig could resolve the slides issue. Please follow the instruction below for the following browser.

Internet Explorer

  • Open Internet Explorer
  • Click on Tools menu and then click on Internet Options.
  • Click on Security tab within the Internet Options.
  • Select Trusted Sites by clicking once on the green arrow.
  • Change the Security level for this zone to Low by moving the slider to the bottom. If you do not see a slider, click "Default Level" and the slider will appear.
