Activating your microphone in Webinato is done by clicking the Microphone icon at the bottom of the webinar room interface, in the Control Bar:
If you are having trouble activating your microphone, please check the following:
- Is your microphone hooked up properly? Check your connection to the computer and make sure the microphone or headset is plugged in correctly. If using a device with a 1/4" (headphone) connection, make sure it is plugged in all the way.
- Is the microphone installed correctly? Check your computer's Sound Control Panel (or System Preference on a Mac) to make sure the device is showing up there, and that the levels and other settings are properly configured.

- Is your hardware malfunctioning? It's possible there may be a physical malfunction in your hardware. If possible, try an alternate device to see if you get better results.
- Are you selecting the correct microphone inside of Webinato? Click the gear icon next to the Microphone Icon and select your desired microphone. Please do not use the Default item, if possible, and select the exact microphone you wish to use.
